ok …. In going to explain that this is the best I can – I have the Samsung Omnia i910 – I have the data plan for $ 30 on my phone so I have unlimited usage, when I click on the Intenet on my phone – if I use my phone as a modem I have a 5 gig monthly limit. After said this – I downloaded pdanet to the advice of some friends – and it works great when connected it says that in about Active Sync ….. So I connected 'm not 100% sure whether this program to eat my 5 gig VERIZON threshold or if its operation just like on my internet on my phone without actually tethering where there is no threshold? theres a lot of confusing information out there and there really are no definitive answers are found on no one …. have a right answer?
If You have done it for a while one can easily check your usage so far for data. (Dial # data on your phone) and see if its more than usual, then you know their revenue from your tether allocation. You can call customer service and ask for technical support. I would seriously ask recommed tech tho, cust service isn't trained on little more than look at your usage and you can do that
I’ve wanted a Treo 650 for a while, but I was doing research on it today, and I found out it doesn’t have wifi. Is threre any other verizon compatible smartphones with wifi?
Samsung 730i if they still sell it. Also their Verizon 6700 is wi-fi.

Looking at different Smart Phones, Treo 650, 700w and Cing 8125. I basically need email access. any thoughts?
The Cingular 8125 / T Mobile MDA [they're basically the same phone] with the data plans have your email sent to your mobile phone.
I have a Treo 650 and with the VersaMail software all I had to do was enter the correct pop3 settings and password and I can access my email wirelessly anywhere, anytime.
