Syncing Wireless Device…Remotely.?
Hypothetical situation for an assignment:
There is a databased timetable for appointments on a computer in the office.
Every employee’s appointments are contained in that database.
The timetable can change several times daily as appointments are made and cancelled.
Every employee has a mobile device (PDA/Smartphone/Blackberry).
Every employee works “out in the field”.
Is it possible to synchronise the timetable database with the mobile devices without checking into the office?
If so, what’s the name of the technology (for additional research)?

I’m not completely sure but I guess your company could use Microsoft Exchange.
